Jewelry creation is one of my major passions in life. This creation enables me to integrate my love for jewelry, history, and nature.
I create feminine, enchantingly unique pieces Designing these pieces I reinterpret ancient motifs and nature through a contemporary lens.
For each collection, I develop distinct design elements that complement natural characteristics. I always handpick special gems and use special metal techniques at work.
My hand made pieces are influenced by the cultures and traditions that have prospered through the ages. While bearing a close relationship to Byzantine and oriental arts, my pieces manifest a novel, modern and fresh interpretation thousands of years later.
My fascination with jewelry was sparked by my mom, who gave me a special piece for my birthday each year. She also encouraged my interest in handicrafts, art, and design. Later, my uncle, a diamond dealer, “changed my life,” when he suggested that I should consider studying jewelry design.
Before I began selling my collections, I received an MA in English and French literature. Then I spent five more years studying goldsmith and jewelry design as well as ancient jewelry techniques in JEWELRY ART INSTITUTE New York City. As soon as I finished my studies, I opened my own studio.
Today, in my studio and showroom, I craft each piece by hand and show them by appointment to customers including visitors from all over the world, as well as popular entertainers.
I was chosen by the prime minister's wife to create a special State gift for Hilary Clinton, Madeleine Albright and other leaders from all over the world. In the last years, I collaborated with the national MUSEUM OF ART on pieces I designed inspired by the museum's art collection. I also created a special collection for the museum on its 70th anniversary. My idea was to create a collection inspired by a special architectural building -The shrine of the book that resides in the museum. This collection is successfully displayed at the museum these days.
